LESSON IX. 
FORGIVENESS, THE CURE OF SIN. 

EVEN a slight knowledge of God’s Truth has healed case after case through removing fear and restoring confidence in life and health as greater powers than disease and death.

Many a captive has been set free from the bonds of sickness and sorrow, misery and poverty, just through the realization that these things are subject to mind and that they are not necessary evils, since they have no part or place in the true Life.

A slight knowledge heals.

To begin to be conscious of our freedom from the law of an evil and fleshly inheritance (Lesson 7), and that we are not in bondage to the laws of physical causation (Lesson 8), is sufficient to cast off multitudes of the ills to which flesh seems to be heir, and day after day the student sees himself released from daily afflictions and annoyances. He does not catch cold now through fears of draft or damp, knowing that he is Spirit, and cannot be affected by material changes. He does not suffer from indigestion, for he has ceased to give power to his food. He no longer thinks he must have heart disease or consumption, cancer or rheumatism, because his earthly parents suffered from
